The Little River Railroad & Lumber Company Museum
Who Are We?
The Little River Railroad and Lumber Company is a non-profit corporation founded in 1982 to preserve the heritage of the Little River Lumber Company and the Little River Railroad. We operate a museum in Townsend, Tennessee, collecting, preserving, and exhibiting the history of these companies, and of the people in this region.
Admission is FREE Hours: June through October: Daily and Saturday 10-5, Sunday 1-5 April, May, & November: Weekends Only – Saturday 10-5, Sunday 1-5 December through March: Off-Season. Groups by appointment only (email or call) (the grounds and outdoor exhibits are always available)

Kids Day Coming your way Saturday, October 30, 2021, 10 am to Noon Free Family Fun Event. Garden model railroad, special displays, crafts, games, treats, a Hobo costume contest, and more fun! All ages are encouraged to join in the costume fun but winners will be announced for kids age groups. **Hint creativity judges love homemade creativity**
