This is a new production of the original slide show presented by Bill Hooks from 1973 to 1984 at the Elkmont Campground in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. During this time the show set a national record as the most attended campground program in the entire National Park System. Only Bill Hooks could tell these tales to such delight, and his original narrative is herein preserved. All of the images have been restored and many added to this new production.
